I just wanted to share some resources that have been of help to me regarding dating, relationships, preparing for marriage etc. Most of them were recommended to me by other people at one time or another and I've also referred other people to them. So, here goes!
Singleness & Dating
- Passion & Purity- Elisabeth Elliot: My favorite book!
- Mars Hill sermon on dating & courtship: I was especially convicted in the last part where Pastor Mark lists questions for what to consider when we're thinking about dating someone. The part that hit me before I started dating Jeff was when he asked "Is this someone who you'd want your daughter to marry and your sons to be like?"
- When Sinners Say I Do - Dave Harvey: Gospel-centered living in the context of a relationship. It's good even not in the framework of marriage
- Each For The Other- Bryan Chapell: It's really focused on God's design for marriage and especially the different roles of the wife and husband.
- This Momentary Marriage- John Piper & Sacred Marriage- Gary Thomas: Both give a bigger and biblical perspective on the purpose of marriage.
- Christ-centered Relationships- Francis Chan (parts 1, 2, 3)
- Cultivating a Healthy Marriage- Tim & Kathy Keller
- Let Me Be A Woman- Elisabeth Elliot: Letters from Elisabeth Elliot to her daughter about Biblical womanhood. I love this book!
- Mars Hill Peasant Princess sermon series: Biblical perspective on dating, marriage, sex based on Song of Solomon.

did i tell you i bought "each for the other" way back when you first recommended it? i read a chunk of it until i gave it away to my friend who is marrying soon. i figure that if i never get around to finishing it (which usually happens), maybe it'll be of some use to someone else =P
